not long now

I will try and update this blog more frequently when i am away, i just feel a lil silly when i'm still in southampton, however things have happened which i think merits a post! having not had a hostel available in paris for the last week, i checked hostelworld (my new best friend to be) and up popped a very nice one near my train station, so that is all booked and a massive weight off me shoulders, as i was shitting meself that i'd arrive in paris and have to stay is some shit b&b or guesthouse with businessmen miles away from everything. I've also got me travel insurance sorted, paid for my trip from st petersburg to beijing, have only one more day left at work, where yday i got some amazing presents which i just love. Me dad bought me my bag, which i am very fond of, he is called Michelle, as it makes me look like a turtle, ( i chose turtle over toitoise as turtle's are cooler as they have that whole ninja stigma attached to them). i had me leaving do which was lovely, had a great time chatting away and was great to see everyone and i think everyone had a lovely time. i had my last injections yday which is great. i've got a busy 6 days before i leave on thursday, playing at st mary's tomorrow, out for meals monday tuesday and wed, which will be cracking. So everything is coming into place quite nicely, really looking forward to setting off and starting it, as it has been ages in the planning. it's getting quite real now. yay x

the train's a-rumbling

sup, been a little while since me last post, apologies, i've not been in the mood. a lot has happened in the last couple of weeks, i had an amazing weekend in oxford for beth's birthday, had a few heavy nights out on town, got on my bike, played football and was really good, played tennis and was shit, been to the beach a few times even having a dip, life's full of joy! Just this evening i've booked me flights to russia, and also from toyko to bangkok! Also had me last hep jabs, on top of japanese encylit...something, tick bourne aforementioned and having rabies and all! mr mackey, drugs are not bad. Also arranged me leaving party, a leaving meal for peeps at work, i'm off to cardiff on thursday for adam's birthday, and... i'm considering getting a facebook while i'm away. Night all! x      (ps, there was also fat kid pwnz bully on youtube....)

hello you!

Hello everybody!, if you're reading this then i bloody hope you already know me, so i wont bore you with dreary tales or facts about me (which if we were having a real life conversation i'd have to fight the urge not to do so in my utter rubbish cilla black impression). this is my blog that i plan to use for my third of the world trip. hopefully i'll get to do it reasonably regularly so people who care can know what shenanikans i've been up to and also for my own recollection. as this is about my travels don't be suprised if it is mostly about me and my own experiences, i'll try not to be too self indulgent or a prick, though i can't promise nowt. there will be times no doubt when i update this when i'm tired, elated, miserable, angry or drunk so bear that in mind yeah.
